I have to ride out the storms,
close my eyes and pray,
The storm clouds won't last,
soon they will pass away.

Original me
There are no dupicates,
for the eyes to see,
There is only one,
original,
me.
It takes a lifetime,
to become who I am.
It takes smiles and tears,
ups and downs,
I have walked through my share of fears,
I climbed the mountains,
and stood in the fields.
Never are two stars alike,
I have played in the sun,
and danced in the moonlight.
I have had my share of love,
and my share of heartaches,
I have had my truimps,
and I have made my mistakes.
There are no dupicates.
for the eyes to see.
There is only one,
original
me.
I?m not perfect I have my flaws.
There are times,
I'd like to fast forward or pause.
I'd hold on to love
, and run from heartaces.
Sometime I would drive with fury,
Sometime I'd put on my breaks.
But in life there are no double takes.
There are no dupicates.

Her shadow
She was the shadow that covered his heart,
The battle he would fight in the dark,
The tears he would never cry,
She was the love of his life,
He could never say goodbye,
Every other love ,
walked in her shadow.
And if you looked deep into his eyes,
You would see ,
she is all that matters,
He still does battle,
With her shadow.
She has a unforgiving heart,
Now he's living in the dark,
Hearts sometime hardened by salted tears,
Lonely nights are sometime haunted by love that disappears,
