Hope For life Eternal Is Through The Cross.

The Life of Christ

She sang softly

She never knew what His future would be,
Tomorrow's tears wasn't for her to see,
As she held her baby next to her cheek,
She sang softly, as her child went to sleep.
She didn't know what His future would be,
Her sorrow was not yet to see,
One day she would cry under Jesus’ feet,
She sang softly as her child went to sleep.
She never knew what His future would be,
She never knew the sorrow was for me,
As the dove flew from Calvary's Tree,
She never knew she would weep,
She sang softly,
as her child went to sleep.

Who will save Christmas This Year?

Who will save Christmas this year?
Can you feel God's heart broken tear?

He watches us from above,
As we turn down His gift of love.
There are so many who don't believe,
In the evening star and Christmas Eve,
Or the Christmas morn,
That the Christ child was born,
There are those who ask God to leave,
It's Christmas for those who believe.
Can you feel God's heart broken tear,
Who will save Christmas this year,

He sent His son from above.
And we turn down His gift of love.
There are those who don't believe,
In the evening star and Christmas eve.
Or the Christmas morn,
The Christ child was born.
There are those who ask God to leave,
There are those who don't believe.
In the evening star or Christmas eve.
Somewhere in life their hearts were deceived.
As God is asked to leave,
Do you feel His broken hearted tear?
Who will save Christmas this year?

The Christmas Star

May the Christmas star shine,
Where ever you are, let it be yours and mine,
to find.
May the light shine so bright,
On Christmas morn,
That we we'll be led,
to the stable where the child was born.
May the star lead us,
to follow the shepard's dust,
Where ever you are,
May you see the light of the Christmas star.

A Christmas Story

I found the King at last
She walked in the snow without a friend all alone,
The cold winter wind chilled her to the bone,
She had no where to go, but to God's home,
In her cold search, She saw the little old country church.
Under the star, There was the manger
, and there was the child, and there she met a stranger,
What are you looking for, May I ask?
See the star, I found what I’m looking for,
I've found the King at last.
She heard the choir singing, as if they had an angels voice,
She heard the church bells ringing and he felt her heart rejoice,
I’ve searched for the mother and child,
before in the past,
As she smiled she said I've found the king at last.

The Trail

From the manger in a stable,
to a distant hill,
Jesus the Son, did His Father's will.
From the arms of His mother,
as she rocked her son to sleep,
To the Hill of Calvary, where she would weep.
Jesus taught in the temple,
as a great priest.
Jesus went to the mountain,
with the soul's great feast.
Jesus stopped at the well,
and removed every stone.
Jesus held out hope,
the world has never known.
Jesus healed the broken heart,
and let the blind see.
Jesus gave a light in the dark,
that would lead to Calvary.
Jesus lead the way as blood fell.
Jesus was a simple carpenter,
who built a bridge with each nail,
Jesus is God's Son,
His work was done,
At the end of Calvary's trail.

The Nail Scarred Hand

Just a touch of the nail scarred hand,
And I feel God understand,
Just a touch of Heaven above,
And I feel my Savior's love.

The nail scarred hand will lead the way,
To heaven's fair lands ole Lord I pray,
I'll walk in God's love,
I know he'll lead the way,
To heaven's fair lands where mansions lay.

The nail scarred hand will hold me from above,
The nail scarred hand holds me with love,
Jesus bore the nail now my way is paved,
Through the blood of the nail scarred hand I'm saved.

Another night passed

The night was still
Upon the hill where our sins were cast,
The first night passed.
, With a cold dark chill upon a hill,
Free from this earthly prison at last.
The first night passed.
Blood fell as they hammered in the nail.
I know the question why Mary asked.
Another night passed.
Free from this earthly prison at last.
Another night passed.
They put Him in a tomb on cold stone.
Than they came and found Him gone,
With the cold night chill upon a hill.
Jesus has done His Father's will.
He was the lamb where sins are cast.
A vision He's arisen.
Free from this earthly prison at last.
Another night passed.

The Son

There is no greater love,
than a Father has for His Son
. There was no greater sacrifice,
For God gave His only one.
Jesus was placed in Mary's heart,
and in her arms.
Mary could not foresee
the light in the dark,
in the eye of the storms.
In a small stable,
held close to Mary's cheek,
Jesus was a blessed mother's son,
She sung Him to sleep.
Mary could not foresee the tears ,
She would weep.
There was a promise He was meant to keep.
Someday Mary would lay
Crying at her beloved son's feet.
God sacrificed His beloved Son.
Thy will be done.
The beloved Son.

The Blood Was Shed By Jesus

On the hill of Galilee a mother cried.
On the cross of Calvary our Savior was crucified,
For you and me He died,
They put Him in a tomb,
But God’s Son you cannot bury,
He’s the Lamb of God, He was the Son Of Mary.
There were blood and tears that fell, Mixed in with the mud,
Were a mother’s tears and a Savior's blood.
The world was on His shoulders on the cross He had to carry,
The blood was shed by Jesus, The tears were shed by Mary.

When Jesus was on the cross

When Jesus was on the cross,
We were on His mind,
Giving us a light, When our eyes are blind,
What sweet peace we can find,
When Jesus was on the cross,
We were on His mind,

Infinite promises ,
That go past the hour of time,
Changing the water,
Into sweet wine,
Giving us light,
When our eyes are blind,
When Jesus was on the cross,
We were on His mind,

There was a plan for mankind,
God sent His son for sins of yours and mine,
God took the darkest night,
and sent the sun to shine,
When Jesus was on the cross,
We were on His mind.

Dark Shadows

Somewhere in the dark shadows,
In the blackest inner battles,
I find footsteps where Angels have trod,
Leading me to the light of God.

Somewhere in the dark lonely night,
Where tears are hard to fight,
Suddenly a star is in sight,
I find footsteps where Angels have trod,
Leading me to the light of God.

Somewhere in the dark shadows,
In the blackest inner battles,
I find footsteps where Angels have trod,
Leading me to the light of God.

If only He could save the world

The night grew dark and the cross grew heavy,
On His shoulders was the weight of the world,
He had prepared for this in a place of solace,
He knew what He faced ,hatred has hurled.
If only He could save the world.
Who could bare a cross so heavy?
It wasn't meant for a man to bare,
Jesus asked the cup be passed from Him.
With tears in His prayer,
Only grace could save the world,
He knew what He faced Hatred hurled.
A slave lifted the weight of the cross to help,
Tears fell from his eyes,a strong man wept,
Jesus took His place ,as hatred was hurled,
Only grace could save the world.

The Bleeding Rose

There was a flower,
In the world's darkest hour,
Who felt the thorns pierce His heart,
There was a bleeding rose,
With His petals torn apart.
The world nailed Him to the cross,
Our sins were exposed,
Chosen from God's garden,
For our sinful souls,
Nailed to the cross,
Was a bleeding rose.

There is a power that grows,
In the flower of our souls,
In the darkest hour,
God chose,
To give us the bleeding rose.

This too will pass

God looked down on the tears,
He spoke quiely to the heart,
Like rain the pain disappears,
I'll shine a light to you in the dark,
Like the night on the cross,
When my son came home at last,
I heard God whisper in my ear,
Dry your tear,
For this too will pass.

No one seemed to understand,
The pain that grows,
Until I felt God's hand,
As He offered me a rose,
He said to find the cross,
is all I ask,
I heard God whisper in my ear,
Dry your tear,
As my son came home at long last,
This too will pass.

I saw the rain disappear,
I saw a rainbow in skies so clear,
Than I heard God whisper in my ear,
Dry your tear.
On the cross is where sins are cast,
My son has come home at long last,
This too will pass.

The Son of God,
If only He could save the world.
Answer all of the prayers He heard
For He was the promise of God's word,
The snow white bird,
If only every heart stirred.
Only by grace could He endure,
Only a lamb so white and pure,
Only a brave heart,
The Son of God,
Could be the light in the dark,
To the path angels trod.

Life’s Road
Have you listened for your brother’s call?
He may stumble and he may fall,
Life’s road is covered with stone,
It wasn’t meant to walk alone.
Have you listened for the Master’s call?
You may stumble you may fall,
When you walk life’s road alone,
You will find it covered with stone.
Have you listened to a stranger’s call?
He may stumble he may fall,
He may be carrying a heavy load,
Did you pass a stranger on the road?
Have you heard your brother’s call?
He may stumble he may fall,
Life’s road is covered in stone,
It wasn’t meant to walk alone.

Where Ever You Are

Somewhere in the dark night,
When there is no hope in sight,
There is a light that shines like a star,
Where ever you are,in your heart,
There is a light in the dark.
Somewhere in the dark alley,
On top of a mountain,
or in a lonely valley,
There is a light that shines like a star,
Where ever you are, in your heart,
There is a light in the dark.
Some where in the dark shadows,
You aren't alone with your battles,
God is there to help you fight,
He is the white knight,
That shines a light wherever you are,
Like a star shining bright,
Somewhere in the dark night, The cross is in sight,
There is a light that shines like a star,
Where ever you are,
There is a light in the dark,
Where ever you are in your heart.

Quiet Reflection

It came to me in a quiet moment,
Of Jesus on the cross.
Of all the pain and suffering
For a heart that was lost.
I know at that time,
I was on His mind,
And to Jesus I say thank you,
And forgive me when I was blind,
I see the path He's trying to take me through,
He left His foot prints so could find,
A trail in the sand,
And Jesus left the imprint of the nail in His hand,

In a quiet moment I reflect the past,
And on the cross where my sins are cast,
And I remember a fishing line,
And a fisherman that tried one more time.
Until He caught a heart going under,
Through the storms and it's thunder.
He's fisher of men.
His net is vast,
He controls the wind and calms the sea at last.

On the sandy shore,
I find His foot prints once more,
A trail in the sand,
And Jesus left the imprint of the nail in His hand.

In quiet moments of the dark,
There 's a light house for my heart,
And if I land on a foreigh shore
I know I'll find my way home once more,
For I look for foot prints in the sand,
And I remember the imprint of the nail in His hand.

Safe in His Arms

I can't take away your tears.
But I can tell you, every prayer God hears.
And every angel that has gone through the storms,
Is now safe in His arms.
I can't tell you where heaven is.
But I can promise you that it does exist.
There is no danger of Satan's charms,
Every angel that has gone through the storms,
Is now safe in his arms.
I know it's lonely, and he's so much missed,
But now He's in heaven with an angel's kiss.
Life doesn't end it just transforms.
Every angel that has gone through the storms,
Is now safe in God's arms.

God looked down on the tears,
He spoke quietly to the heart,

For this too will pass.

God’s Dream

In a lonely moment,
God laid out a masterful
plan for humanity.
He made the universe,
not only to sustain life,
but to give life a dream.
He made the star to wish on.
He made obstacles for a challenge.
He made the universe full of wonder
to exercise our intellect.
He made the universe from a dream.
For life, hearts and souls.
We are a small particle
of the universe,
But we are the reason
that it was made.
We are God's dream.

All that matters to me

It doesn't matter,
if His eyes were blue,
Or if they were brown,
All that matters to me,
Is the true love I have found,
It doesn't matter if His skin is another race,
For we all imagine Him with a different face,
All that matters is that He went to the cross ,
and wore a crown,
And that Im not lost because He came down.
It doesn't matter to me the color of His skin,
All that matters to me comes from within,
I don't care the color of His eyes,
I just care that He bore the cross,
And that He was able to rise,
It doesn't matter to me,
If His birth was in a manager,
I don't care if He's the homeless stranger,
All that matters to me,
is the blood that was His fell,
And that it was His love that bore the nail.
All that matters to me,
Is that a Savior was born,
All that matters to me,
Was the Christ who's crown was thorne,
All that matters to me ,
Was one Christmas morn.
Angels sung and the Christ child was born.
All that matters to me ,
Is that He came down,
All that matters to me,
Is the true love I found.

God's water well

My feet grow heavy,
as I walk this road,
My heart grows weary,
and aches in the cold,
I am just a old soul,
That tried ,and failed,
I stopped weary and thirsty,
at God's water well,

Sometime the cross grows heavy,
That I have to bare,
Sometime the heart grows weary,
and whispers a quiet prayer,
Sometime tears fall,
When I'm afraid to dare.
I know 'Id be lost,
but for the blood from the nail,
I have already lived.
in my own private hell,
But now Im headed for streets of gold.
Life has taken a heartbreaking toll,
I am just a old soul,
that tried and failed.
I stopped weary and thirsty
at God's water well.

I walk on lonely streets,
in the cold driven snow,
Tears on my cheeks,
A ache in my soul,
Sometime I fell as if noone will care,
But than sweeter than a breathe of fresh air,
I find new wind beneath my sail,
I stopped weary and thirsty,
at God's water well,

He said

I heard a voice speak to me,
in the quiet of the night,
He said,
I have no voice but yours,
You have no strength but mine,
We need each other you know,
I'll be your eyes when you are blind,
You cry my tears for me,
I calm your raging sea,
We share this life you know,
I'll be your heart and your soul,
I'll be the strength that you find,
I'll be your eyes when you are blind,
I have no voice but yours,
You have no strength but mine.

I heard a voice in the quiet of the night,
speak to my heart,
and filled my eyes with light,
He said I am precious in His sight,
He'll be my eyes when I'm blind.
He said He'd be with me all of the time,
He has no voice but mine,
His strength is there for me to find.
I heard His voice speak,
I felt His tears on my cheek,
He said I 'll be your eyes when you are blind..
He said,
I have no voice but yours,
You have no strength but mine.

I saw you stumbling home

With a smile through His tears,
He said I can see you made it,
I have waited for years,
Sometime my heart was breaking,

I knew you were strong,
but you chose to stand alone,
I watched every stone ,
that you fell on,
I saw you stumbling home.

I wondered for years,
how you could take it,
Through my tears,
my heart was aching.
You can't always make right,
every wrong,
All you can do,
when you write the song,
Is to tell what is true,
of the life you have known.

You became a humble man.
I watched you fall and rise again.
You have never been truly alone.
I watched every stone ,
that you fell on.
I saw you stumbling home.

I am convienced

I am convienced
I'm in the presence of His love,
I am convienced,
there is a heaven above,
I have an allenience to the prince,
I'm so far from worthy of,
His crown made of the thorns of a rose's vine,
Turned to gold on a king devine,
The star from heaven will always shine.
The blood from the nailscar is my wine,
The bread of life ,I enternally dine.
Come to Jesus all who are blind
I'm in the presence of His love.
I am convienced
there is a heaven above.
I am convinced,
I'm in the presence of His love.
I have a allegence to the prince,
I'm far from worthy of,
I am convinced,
there is a heaven above,
I'm convinced,
Im in the presence of His love.

Spear to the heart
written by judyarlinepuckett
03:32 PM 2/12/07

Everyone knows of the nails

that pieced His hands,
Spikes that were driven into His wrists,

by Judas's kiss,
and hatred's demands,

A mothers tears,
fell in the mist.
Far beyond the reason
a mother understands,

To everything there is a season,
in God's plans,

Rain fell over love's flame,
in the dark.
The last pain.
was a spear to the heart,

Love's cost was high.
Love placed Him on the cross to die,
for the world's sins to be forgiven,
As the wood spikes were driven,

Rain fell over love's flame,
in the dark.
The last pain.
was a spear to the heart,

The crowd cheered on.
Let Him to die,
Tears fell
, from God's eye,
Th crown on His Son,
was made of thorn,
For this moment,
Jesus was born.

Rain fell over love's flame,
in the dark.
The last pain.
was a spear to the heart.

Tortured and tormented,
They gambled for His garment,
The Robe on a King.
The rose of God's dream.
For this moment,
The Christ child came.

Rain fell over love's flame,
in the dark.
The last pain.
was a spear to the heart.

He would rise from the grave,
Leave a empty room.
On a cold slab,
where Jesus once laid,
Now is only a empty tomb,

Where does hatred end?
Where does love start?
How does the world mend,
God's broken heart?
Rain fell over love's flame,
in the dark.
The last pain.
was a spear to the heart.

Did you forget me?

You remembered me..
While you were in the storms,
Through your troubled times,
you stayed in my arms.

You remembered me,
When tears fell from your eyes,
But after I calmed the wind,
And cleared the skies,

After I bought peace to your life,
Now in a moment that is calm.
You no longer see the blood from the palm.

Or the spear that pierced the heart,
You close your eyes,
and stay in the dark,
You came so close.
you touched my robe,

It started to rain.
I built the arc,

When you fell on your knees to prayer.
I offered you hope.

In the light of day,
Did you turn away.
Did you forget me?

I heard God say...
I remembered you,
When I heard you pray.
In the dark,
So often in the past,
Now as I look into your heart,
I have to ask,
Did you forget me?

I'm in God's light now

He let me live another day,
He let me watch another sun rise,
He listened to me,
when I cried,
With tears in His eyes,
He is not through we me yet,
He let me watch another sun set.
Everything in my world seems right somehow,
I'm in God's light now.

He let me live another night,
To see the stars shining bright,
To feel His love under the moonlight,
Such a beautiful sight I'm allowed.
I'm in God's light now.

He lets me see His miracles,
with my own eyes,
From the bluest ocean.
to the silver lining clouds in the skies.
Everything in my world is alright somehow
I'm in God's light now.

Ask me what I believe,

My heart is not deceived, When the wind blows gently on the leaves,
I see, through God's eyes somehow
I'm in God's light now

God exists

I have touched the rose,
I have felt heaven's kiss.
Gentle wind blows,
over the rains mist,
My heart knows,
That God exists.

I have seen the clouds,
silverlined
He told me a rainbow
was there for me to find.
I know that He's mine,
and I am His,
I know in my heart,
God exists.

I have seen the light,
in the darkest night,
No longer blind,
I have seen the stars shine,

I have touched the rose,
I have felt heaven's kiss.
My heart knows,
God exists.
Is the darkest hour,
I have felt His power,
I have seen His flower.
I have seen the light,
from the watch tower.
I have seen the sun shine though
a rain shower.

I have touched the rose.
I have felt heaven's kiss.
Gentle wind blows.
over the rain's mist.
My heart knows.
That God Exists.

Forgiven in the eyes of God.

Sometime I feel like the last hold out,
It seems so cold out,
Have I sold out?
Before God lit a candle in my dark soul,
It seemed like a vandal has stole,
Something more precious than gold,
As I see the last sunset
Taking the good,
And leaving the regret,
As I walk on the trail angels trod,
Forgiven in the eyes of God.

I know I need to look above,
And find that star that offers love,
And in the dawn open my eyes,
To God's horizon, and God's sunrise.
The night is coming,The sun starts to set,
Taking the good,
And leaving the regret,
As I walk on the trail angels trod,
Forgiven in the eyes of God.

God can handle the stones on the road,
God can light a candle in my dark soul,
He is the fisherman with the great net,
Taking the good,
And leaving the regret.

As I walk on the trail angels trod,
Forgiven in the eyes of God.

Below is a picture of a formation in space called the Eye of God

I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't, and die to find out there is.
