Angel Watch
I believe that angels fly close to this earth,
And watch over a little baby from the time of it's birth,
God sends a angel to watch over close,
And let's a angel's tears touch a rose.
God looked down from heaven,
and saw what love is worth,
God send down a angel close to earth.
To dry a child's tear,
with a angel 's wing,
God sent a angel to fly through a dream.
And stand in the garden when the wind blows,
God sent a angel to watch over the rose
.
Some say they don't believe in angels,
But I don't care,
I know for me a angel is there,
Whispering in God's ear my prayer,
Under a halo is angel hair,
Softly she flies in the wind like air,
When the wind blows
God sends a angel to watch over the rose.
I know we are under a angel's watch,
As we walk the path that angels trod,
To the golden arch,
and the throne of God,
There are angels that fly through the souls,
God sends a angel to watch over His rose.
With Angel Wings
She wipes her child's tears,
With a angel's wing,
She whispers songs of love in the air,
That only angels sing,
She tells her child to keep living,
And reaching for her dream,
She's as close as breathing the air,
under a halo of angel hair,
a angel is there it seems,
Wiping her child's tears,
with a angel wing
She had to leave before her time,
She watches her child for peace of mind,
She prayers in heaven for blessings to bring,
And she wipes her child;'so tears with an angel wing.
She was called to heaven by the heart of God,
She walks on the path other angel's have trod,
She's headed to the throne of the king,
But she lingers to dry her child's tears with a angel wing.
She sees her child with a tear of her cheek,
She watches her child when she goes to sleep,
Her child has a angel sent by the King,
That wipes her child's tear with a angel's wing.
She had to go to heaven before she finished everything,
She left her child too soon it would seem,
She wanted to see her child have her dream.
She wipes her child's tears with a angel's wing.
Homeward bound angel
Homeward bound angel your journey will soon end,
You spread your wings and fly in the wind,
You go heaven bound to receive your crown.
Some time I can still feel you around,
My angel you are now home ward bound.
Once you were a wayward stranger,
You passed through my heart,
Now you are a home bound angel,
Going now to receive your reward,
You are my light in the dark,
God sent you down,
Now you go home to receive
your crown,
My angel home ward bound.
I watch you spread your wings,
As you fly in the wind,
Home ward angel your journey will soon
come to an end,
I listen to a bird that sings,As if it could
hear heaven's sound,
And I see a angel spread her wings,
and fly homeward bound.
Some day I know we'll meet again,
In heaven is where you will be found,
Some day when I get my wings,
I'll fly home ward bound.
I'll meet the King of kings,
And I'll receive my crown.
God sent an angel down,
And someday I'll be home ward bound.
Angels fly to heaven from the south
They may never go to their earthly home again,
They weren't strong in Katrina's wind,
She has a woman's beautiful name,
But she bought with her tears, heartache and pain,
No one has ever known such wrath,
As those who crossed Katrina's path,
Angels fly to heaven from the south.
The wind whispered the blues in New Orleans,
Some lost their love and their dreams,
In the wind angels spread their wings,
Some of the angels came from New Orleans,
As Katrina crossed their path,
'Angels fly to heaven from the south,
I hear a saxophone playing somewhere,
Like a whisper of a prayer,
Lingering in the Dixie air,
As Katrina crossed their path,
Angels fly to heaven from the south,
From the heart land of America you may hear,
Soft music playing by a angel ,to take away your tear,
A angel so close to the one that is dear,
Silver lining on the clouds that now disappear,
Saying goodbye in Katrina's aftermath,
Angels fly to heaven from the south.
Katrina is her name,
She bought heartache and pain,
In water wind and rain,
In the dark,
A broken heart cried in vain.
Than God came,
And crossed Katrina's path.
Angels fly to heaven from the south.
What love is worth
A mother kept her child,
Now she looks at her and smiles,
A boy became a man.
With the touch of her small hand,
He was there for her birth,
They know what love is worth.
He was young and wild,
Some would say he wasn't ready for a child,
But God seemed to have another plan,
His ways are not for us to understand,
He knew how to turn a boy into a man
He sent a angel to earth,
They know what love is worth.
She couldn't let her baby die,
He weakens to the baby's cry,
She's a princess in their eyes,
While another mother tries,
To decide on a birth,
They know what love is worth.
To them there was never a choice,
They weakened to a small silent voice,
A baby that wasn't a part of their plan,
Became the heart of a woman and a man.
The moment of her birth.
They knew what love was worth.
This could be every baby, loved and wanted,
like our little princess is.
