Long ago in a far away land, there lived a beautiful princess.
She walked through the forest-watching a young deer as it fed on the grass,
he turned quickly to bolt, falling from a hunters arrow.
Tears fell from her eyes, causing them to glisten in the sun giving her eyes,
the look of a sparkling star on a moonlit night.,
The young hunter was in awe of her beauty.
He walked up to her and knelt with a bow,
giving her the promise that his arrow would never again pierce anything,
that would bring tears to her eye.
She was touched by his promise and the kind look in his eyes.
He was very handsome.
She fell deeply in love as if a magical spell had been cast by fairy dust.
Her father did not approve of the match because he was a commoner.
He sent the young hunter to the New World. ,
The young princess rushed to him as he boarded the ship. ,
She placed in his hand a bag of magical seeds given to her by a magician .
Her tears fell onto the seeds.
She told him to plant the seeds wherever he was,
and someday she would find him.
The young hunter carried her seeds with him to the New World.
He fell asleep one night by a river with the seeds lying close to him.,
The next morning he felt the cool breeze of wind
And heard it whisper her name.
He awakened with tears in his eyes to see a beautiful tree had grown close to where he had sleep, giving him shelter.
He carved a heart into the tree tree with the name of his princess.
The tree has shed her tears and has been given her name,
Weeping Willow.
Nature's Magic
Nature has a magic all of it's own.
The wind seems to whisper it's own soothing song.
The sunlight shining on the water and through the trees,
Only a great and Artist could create
such an ever-changing Master piece.
Proof of God's Existence.
Fairies
Fairies hide by the river in the underbrush,
Dancing in the moonlight in their hidden
kingdom from all of us.
They hear the music played by the angels
above.
They have flown on the wings of a dove
Fairies dance among the wild flowers
With their magical powers,
They dance in fairy dust,
Enchanting the Earth's crust.
Sometime enchanting us,
The way a fairy does.
Maybe someday, you will see
Somewhere hidden away, fairies play.
Fairies hide by the river in the underbrush.
They dance in the moonlight in fairy dust.
Fairies find caterpillars in the underbrush,
Sprinkling them with fairy dust,
They change into beautiful butterflies,
Before the fairy eyes.
They find the ugly duckling
As she wades close by,
She is turned into a beautiful swan ,
with a fairy sigh.
Fairies have magic you do realize,
You can see them if fairy dust touches your eyes.
The Princess inside
Children aren't always kind; it's sad but true.
The little girl listened to the other children's
Taunts, but would not cry,
Her name was Sara.
Sara's tears remained inside, deep in her heart.
She had been born with imperfections.
She tried not to look into mirrors.
It was as if a curse or an evil spell had
been cast on her, because inside Sara knew
She was meant to be a beautiful princess.
She cried her self to sleep.
The morning came, Sara work up,
with heartache, wishing she had woke up,
and her spell would have been broken.
She went to school with reluctance.
At school Sara could not believe her eyes.
Each child that had made fun of someone
had the same imperfections.
A magician had saw Sara's tears and got angry
with the children for the heartless taunts.
She offered comfort to the others.
Sara said a quiet prayer.
They aren't as strong as I am,
make them as they were.
For they can not survive as I do.
Her soft heart soothed others.
The magician smiled at Sara's wisdom.
He took the spell away from the other
Kids,
but warned them that a cold and
mean heart was the worst imperfection
a person could have,
The kids looked at Sara and saw
the beautiful princess she was,
They wished they could be just like her.
Sara had courage, wisdom and a good heart.
Sara looked at her self through others eyes,
and discovered the princess inside.
The frog hopped away
I saw a frog today,
Would you like to be a prince?
I heard myself laugh and say.
The frog wanted to play.
The frog hopped away.
I've often wondered is love
a fairy tale or a myth?
Or does love exist?
And if a frog was
really kissed.
Would he become a
prince and stay?
The frog hopped away.
To paradise,
The water and the sunrise
Seen though a frog's eyes,
It makes no sense,
that he would want to be a prince,
and live in pretense.
I finally realized this.
If a frog was kissed,
Would he be a prince today?
I'll never know, he didn't say
Because the frog hopped away
The pirate dolphin
Once upon a time,in a land of milk an honeycombs,
There lived a beautiful princess in the kingdom,
Of Rockston.
Her name was taken from a sparkling stone,
by a fairy, and bestowed in her.
Her name was Emeraldlene.
Down the road in the neighboring kingdom.
in the kingdom of Amanvilliage.there lived a young pirate,
His name was Hansum.
One evening , just as the stars came out,
under a beautiful full moon.
Emeraldlene walked along the sandy beach.
and as the ocean played with her washing over her feet,
Her long strawberry blonde hair, swept gentle away from her
shoulders by a gust of wind ,
The stars sparkling in her eyes.
The moon given her a halo.
acknowledging the beautiful princess.
Hansum walking along the beach,
while trying to plan his next daring pirate escapade,
Always taking from the rich to give to the poor,
Came to a abrupt stop,
and was awed by the beauty of Emeraldline .
She mysteriously turned,
and disappeared , stealing his heart.
He disappointedly turned to go back to the kingdom
of Amansville.
In his kingdom lived a very wicked witch,
who also had a daughter.
The witch had planned for Hansum to marry her daughter.
But on his return.
she could see the change in Hansum .
who seemed to be a man in love,
so she decided to visit his dreams,
and alas ,
Emeraldlene was in his dreams.
So in a moment of fury she cast a spell on Hansum,
that the very next time he went to the ocean to swim.
he'd become a dolphin.
and the only way he'd ever again be changed back
to human form,
is for Emeraldlene to love him,
Little did the witch know, she created a spell,
which would not work in her daughter's behalf,
Emeraldlene has always loved dolphins.
True to the witches word.
Hansum as he swim in the ocean.
in the early morning mist,
magically became a dolphin,
Emeraldlene loved to walk on the beach,
and dreamed of swimming with dolphins,
suddenly Hansum the pirate dolphin appeared.
He sang to her a dolphins song,
She became memorized by the dolphins song.
She went over to him.
and lifted his pirated hat,
and gently touched him.
He beaconed her into the water.
as she held his fin,
she swam along by his side.
than when he took her back to the ocean ,
she gentle touched him.
Every evening they would meet at the ocean,
as the sun begin to sit,
and swim under the stars and he moon,
until one night she kissed him,
and said the magic words.
I love you.
Hansum's human form changed back to her
amazement into a very handsome young pirate.
They went to both of their kingdoms ,
and announced they would someday marry.
Hansum promised to only plunder the rich,
and give to the unfortunate
He remained a pirate,
but a very happy one.
Emeraldlene made a haven for dolphins.
and cared for them.
They lived happily ever after.
Moral of the story,
Love is the strongest of all magical spells.
Black Bayou night
They say the bayou, has secrets at night,
Some disappear under the moonlight,
It's not clear, how they are taken from sight,
Just another black bayou night.
They say the wind howls their pain,
They say their tears are in the rain,
They say they see the embers of a flame,
as someone disappears in the full moonlight.
Just another black bayou night.
They say they can hear their cry so wild,
That it would make a grown man hide like a child,
Some can hear those who have tried to fight,
As they disappear under the full moonlight,
another black bayou night.
I see you as a knight
You are no soldier of fortune,
You have no sword to fight.
You ride no horse of white,
But have a brave heart.
And in my sight,
I see you as a knight.
You come to me
in my darkest hour
Your love gives me power,
When my world falls apart,
You have a brave heart,
In the light,
I see you as a knight.
Ive seen to at your best,
Going without rest.
Helping others in their quest.
Heroes are shown in their light.
I see you as a knight.
The gift for a queen
The gift for a queen
Once upon a time..
twenty-five years ago..
Two fairies got together..
Looking at earth..
wondering how they could make it
a happier place.
They looked at a beautiful wealthy
woman who had lovely daughters,
and smiled..
and said ,
she does not need anything to make her happier.
Than they looked at another woman.
who lived in poverty.
Somehow wherever she lived.
she seemed to have magical powers,
turning humble homes,
into castles.
I believe she is a queen.
one fairy told the other.
Perhaps the wicked witch has cast a spell,
to imprison her to a life of poverty.
but she seems to overcome her adversity.
Her older children have been kidnapped,
she doesn't yet know how to get them back
from the evil ugly ogre that has taken them.
He has cast his spell on them.
I have seen tears in her heart.
The other fairy was dismayed at
the queen's misfortune.
She is the queen of poverty,
but no less as regal ,
than all of the queens in history,
or fairy tales.
she reigns with grace,
as the fairy spoke,
she smiled.
I believe we shall chose her,
to give a gift to.
A gift of happiness.
She shall have the sun shine in her face,
with a smile.
She will always be able to dance in the rain.
Her heart will have the courage of a lion,
and the iron will to survive all obstacles.
Her happiness will come in the gift
that God has sent angels to tell us of,
She will have a beautiful baby princess.
Her gift is love.
We give the children gifts,
so that one day the mean ugly ogre
will return them.
We give her son a warrior's heart,
and a discontentment ,
so that he will leave the mean ugly old ogre,
and someday return to the queen .
We will give the oldest daughter
tears,
so the mean ugly old ogre,
will no longer want to hold her,
and will return her to her mother.
The gifted spells were cast.
and all came to pass.
The old ugly ogre
found others to cause misery to,
but one day his existence will seize,
as it has already done.
in the memory of the queen.
For we have also given her the gifts,
of forgetfulness and the heart of forgiveness.
Indeed the queen did have
a beautiful princess.
She now had wealth,
that worldly possessions could not compare to.
Her small beautiful princess was born.
Her older children returned,
until later that left to find their own destiny.
The oldest daughter,
like a beautiful butterfly
that once had magically touched her life,
leaving her with the memory of her beauty,
The son rode with the wind,
The queen never found a prince,
or a king for her castle,
But perhaps that too will one day come.
she lived in quiet contentment.
happily ever after,
For she had been blessed,
by a gift from God,
a beautiful little princess,
a gift of love,
Reminding the queen of true wealth,
and of a beautiful white unicorn,
as the sky beaconed to try her wings,
and the sun glistened down toward her.
Yes indeed she is a queen.
Proverty's queen?
Queen of hearts?
Queen of it all?
A queen of survival.
A queen with the gift of love.
